The Daily Record reports that Robby McCrorie is set to leave the club on loan.
It’s suggested that a six-month loan deal has been agreed with Scottish Championship side, Queen of the South.

The report goes onto state it will be a six-month rather than season-long stint, with the intention that the 21-year-old will return to Ibrox in January to fight for a first-team spot.
This will be McCrorie’s third loan spell away from the club. During the 2017-18 season, he turned out regularly for Berwick Rangers. Then, in January 2019, he swapped his spot in the Rangers Reserves for another Championship club, Greenock Morton.
He established himself as no.1 at Cappielow, where he registered six clean sheets in 15 league appearances [
McCrorie is a highly capable Scottish Youth international with experience across six different age groups.

Verdict
This is a sensible move from the club.
The current goalkeeping situation looks a little shambolic, with Allan McGregor, Wes Foderingham, Jak Alnwick, Andy Firth and up until now, McCrorie, all competing for one spot.
Now, though, the promising youngster should have the opportunity to play first-team football over the first half of the season.
With this being his third loan spell, he’s steadily building up experience of senior football. He’ll no doubt be itching to prove himself to Steven Gerrard, in the hope he’ll finally make that elusive competitive Gers debut in 2020.
