The Daily Record report that Dundee United are interested in signing Lee Wallace.
The left-back has been a Rangers player since signing from Hearts in 2011.

He stuck by the club through thick and then, accumulating over 200 appearances, as the Gers moved back up through the divisions.
However, the end is nigh for the 31-year-old at Ibrox.
He has made just three substitute appearances all season and his contract will soon expire.
Therefore, despite still being rated at £720k [Transfermarkt], he’s set to leave Rangers on a free.

You would imagine a variety of clubs would be interested in such a proven performer, who is, after all, a full Scotland international.
Now,
Their manager, Robbie Neilson, played with Wallace at Tynecastle, so there is a connection there.

However, any move could depend on results over the coming weeks.
United missed out on automatic promotion to the SPL to Championship winners, Ross County.
Therefore, their promotion hopes now rest on the playoffs. In order to attract someone like Wallace or even to afford his wages, they may at least need to be playing top flight football next season.
