Alfredo Morelos could end up following Ross Wilson to Nottingham Forest after deciding to leave Rangers on a free transfer.
That is according to Colombian reporter Pipe Sierra, who has been covering the future of Morelos on Twitter.
Sierra claims that five clubs are in the race to sign Morelos right now.
Fenerbahce are one of them, just days after securing another Rangers free agent in winger Ryan Kent.
Spanish sides Sevilla and Cadiz are also mentioned, whilst two Premier League clubs are keen according to Sierra.
Everton and Nottingham Forest are the clubs believed to be exploring a move for Morelos this summer.
Sierra does add that an unknown Italian club are also in the mix with Morelos having a number of options.
Ross Wilson could reunite with Alfredo Morelos
Maybe the links to Forest shouldn’t be a huge surprise.
Former Rangers sporting director Ross Wilson completed a quickfire move from Ibrox to Forest in April.
Now serving as ‘chief football officer’ at the City Ground, Wilson will be assessing options in the transfer market.
Wilson knows all about Morelos from their time together at Rangers, though he wasn’t the man to bring the Colombian to Ibrox.

Forest do need another striker this summer even with Taiwo Awoniyi enjoying a strong end to the season.
Emmanuel Dennis is likely to leave whilst Sam Surridge has yet to really show that he is a Premier League striker.
Adding Morelos to support Awoniyi and Chris Wood may make sense for Forest, especially on a free transfer.
Rangers have already said goodbye to Morelos after 124 goals in 269 appearances for the club.
The 26-year-old proved to be an incredible signing after arriving from Finnish side HJK back in 2017.
There is no chance of Morelos signing a new deal at Ibrox, but we could see him make a move with Rangers connections in mind.
