High-profile RB Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku is a player many Rangers fans will have one eye on at Ibrox but apparently, the Frenchman is exit bound this summer.
One of the most highly sought-after players in Europe at the moment, French international Nkunku has had an explosive 31-goal season but it doesn’t tell the entire story of his effectiveness.

An unconventional striker, the diminutive 24-year-old forward has also laid 20 assists for his teammates meaning he has 51 goal involvements in 48 games.
A vital part of how RB Leipzig plays, if Rangers are to make the Europa League Final in Seville then it will be in no small part down to keeping the forward quiet.
But ahead of the game French publication L’Equipe has been somewhat mixing the pot with a claim that Christopher Nkunku has already told RB Leipzig he wants to leave this summer.
Report claims Christopher Nkunku wants to leave RB Leipzig
With the likes of Man United, Liverpool, and just about every big club in the game linked, the news spread like wildfire.
As did the notion that RB Leipzig have no intention of letting the player, who joined from PSG in 2019, leave without someone stumping up a whopping €100m (£85m).
This suggestion of a player v club stand-off has obviously been eaten up by the press and for Rangers – whilst the talk might be exaggerated – it certainly won’t do the Ibrox side any harm.

The pressure is on Christopher Nkunku to deliver for RB Leipzig and after fluffing his lines in the first leg he will be hoping to make amends at Ibrox.
Rangers are 1-0 down from the first game in Germany but there is all to play for in Glasgow as the Ibrox club dares to Make Us Dream.
Meanwhile, Rangers have been boosted by a clip of a key player being involved in first-team training after appearing to overcome an injury.
