According to Alan Nixon, Luton Town and Hull City are both interested in reported Rangers target Carlos Mendes Gomes and Morecambe want £500k to sell him in this window.
The Gers were first linked with Mendes Gomes back in April by The Sun.

It was stated that Rangers had watched him in League Two action on a number of occasions and had made contact with Morecambe regarding a potential transfer.
The Shrimps have since exercised an option to extend his contract by a year, ensuring that a fee will be required to land him.
It’s now clear, though, that Rangers aren’t the only side who were impressed by his haul of 16 goals last season.
Nixon, who works for The Sun, has asserted that both Luton Town and Hull City are keen on the Dakar-born speedster, with Morecambe wanting a fee of £500k to part with him.
After his superb 2020/21 campaign, which ended with a playoff final winning goal, it’s no surprise that multiple Championship clubs are keen on Mendes Gomes.
Yet, it does put a little pressure on Rangers to act quickly, if they want to avoid disappointment.
£500k seems a reasonable fee for a talented 22-year-old but it’s only likely that the Gers will pay it if Steven Gerrard believes the winger will significantly improve his options in wide areas.
Ryan Kent and Scott Wright were the only two pacy wide players in the squad by the end of last season but several wingers are returning from loan spells for pre-season including Jordan Jones, Brandon Barker, Glenn Middleton and Jake Hastie.
In other news, a Rangers star has been ‘discussed intensively’ by an English club.
