Rangers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst insists Alfredo Morelos has a future at Ibrox – as Turkish giants Fenerbahce are linked towards the end of the transfer window.
Dutch coach Gio put his foot down with Alfredo who upon returning from five months out with an injury faced accusations of fitness and mentality problems.

This all culminated in that stupid red card the striker was shown in the 2-2 draw with Hibs and the striker was eventually left at home for the Champions League Playoff clash with PSV.
After qualification for the tournament something has clearly struck a chord with the striker who immediately went on social media to congratulate his teammates.
Rangers boss confirms Alfredo Morelos progress
Facing the press after Rangers’ 3-1 League Cup win over Queen of the South, Giovanni van Bronckhorst claims that this shift in Alfredo Morelos’ attitude has been evident at the club’s Training Centre.
Beyond that, van Bronckhorst also suggested that the Colombian firebrand will be going nowhere as the window prepares to slam shut.
“I had a good chat with him on Sunday,” said van Bronckhorst [Rangers].
“He had a good week to train but also to think about his future.
“Of course, I had a good talk with him – so, as I said before, he’s still a Rangers player. I think it’s going to be important for us in the next months in the season.
“I saw a change in his attitude, the way he works. He should keep continuing working like this for the next coming months to be the player he can be.
“And a player who can give us a lot.”
The comments come amid much speculation surrounding the Rangers future of Alfredo Morelos, with Fenerbahce named a potential suitor over the weekend.
According to Takvim, Morelos was offered to the Turkish Super Lig club by the player’s agent but it’s clear Rangers still see a place at Ibrox for Alfredo.
Meanwhile, a leading Rangers club insider has dropped a major hint regarding the future fee attached to a loanee taking Ibrox by storm.
