Rangers manager Michael Beale has said that Jose Cifuentes will take his Gers team to another level.
Michael Beale has told The Rangers Review that Rangers are close to signing Jose Cifuentes from Los Angeles FC in the summer transfer window.
Beale has raved about the 24-year-old midfielder and has outlined how the Ecuador international will improve the current Rangers team.
Football.Scotland has claimed that Cifuentes has already signed a pre-contract with Rangers.
Scottish Premiership giants Rangers and Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC now just have the final details to sort out, according to Beale.
Rangers manager Michael Beale on Jose Cifuentes update
Beale said about Cifuentes: “It’s going to be a matter of days. The talks are ongoing and LA has been excellent to deal with throughout.
“I’ve been close to the deal throughout and close to the talks. There are visas and medicals when coming across but we will hopefully have good news in a couple of days. It’s going to happen, but it’s just a matter of time.”

The Rangers boss added: “He’s a really good player, box-to-box and he can play as a No.8 or No.6.
“He’s been playing from Christmas down but there’s been a break in the MLS for a couple of weeks and that’ll be good for him. We don’t want him to be playing for the full year so the week off has been good to him.
“I’ve been on the phone and watching him do some work. We are excited to have him here but let’s see when he’s here and settled into the team. He’s a player that can take us to another level.”
Exciting
In our view, Rangers manager Michael Beale’s comments on Jose Cifuentes are very exciting for the Ibrox faithful.
It seems that it is only a matter of time before the 24-year-old becomes a Rangers player.
Beale being in constant touch with the midfielder shows just keen the Rangers boss is to work with the Ecuador international.
Rangers have a big season coming up,
The Gers will be aiming to win the Scottish Premiership title as well as qualify for the group stage of the Champions League.
Cifuentes could be a big player for Rangers in their quest to reclaim the league title from Celtic and win the domestic cups.
