Sam Lammers reportedly wants to join Rangers in the summer transfer window.

According to Rangers Review, Rangers are interested in signing Sam Lammers from Atalanta in the summer transfer window.

The report has claimed that Rangers are close to agreeing a £3 million deal with Italian club Atalanta.

The report has claimed that the 26-year-old himself is “keen” to make the move to Rangers in the summer of 2023.

Exciting Sam Lammers update for Rangers fans

In our view, the report in Rangers Review about Sam Lammers is very exciting for Rangers fans.

It seems that it is only a matter of time before Rangers are able to secure the services of the 26-year-old Dutch striker.

Rangers need to sign at least one new striker in the summer transfer window due to the departure of Alfredo Morelos.

Now, Lammers does not exactly have a great record of scoring goals in Serie A.

After all, during his loan spells last season, the Dutchman scored just one goal and gave one assist in 13 Serie A starts for Sampdoria and scored one goal and provided one assist in 10 Serie A starts for Empoli.

However, Serie A is a much superior league to the Scottish Premiership.

That Lammers was considered good enough for Atalanta in the first place shows his quality.

We believe that under Rangers manager Michael Beale, Lammers could flourish at Ibrox and become a key figure for the Scottish Premiership.
