As quoted by Rangers.co.uk, Steven Gerrard has provided an update on his transfer plans ahead of his side’s Europa League tie against FC Midtjylland.
The club have been very active in the market this summer, strengthening in central defence, midfield and on the wings.
However, it seems there’s still more to come.

“I think we are really close to where we want to be, but I would still like to see improvement in certain areas,” said Gerrard, as quoted by Rangers.co.uk.
“I am content where I am sitting at now and I have confidence and belief in the squad we have got at the moment, but I would like to put the final touches to it as well.”
The manager hasn’t given away any specifics here, but it’s clear there’s more to come from the Gers in this window.
It’s highly unlikely he’d publicly state a desire to strengthen without having identified or made contact with individual targets, either.

Perhaps seeing his side
scrape over the line at Rugby Park on Sunday made him sure that further additions are needed.
After all, despite all the activity so far, there were only two new faces in the starting XI that took on Killie – Joe Aribo and Sheyi Ojo.
It’ll be interesting to see how things shape up over the coming days, with the English window slamming shut on Thursday afternoon.
Bears may need to brace themselves for more dealings as the club look to add a sprinkle of extra quality to the ranks before the month is out.
