Rangers defender Emmanuel Fernandez has been linked with a number of clubs, including Arsenal, Everton and West Ham.
West Ham could make a concrete move for Fernandez as they are desperate to sign a quality centre-back this summer.
The good news for Rangers is that Bayern Munich have pulled out of the race to sign the Nigerian defender.

Emmanuel Fernandez admits he is loving life at Rangers
Fernandez admits that he is enjoying life at Rangers despite links with a move to the Premier League.
Discussing his future, the 24-year-old even revealed that he has four years left on his deal at Ibrox and an exit is not something that he is thinking about.
The defender was signed from Peterborough United and has taken his game from strength to strength to become one of the Scottish Premiership’s best players.
This is why he has been linked with a number of clubs, but according to him, that is all just “noise”.
In his view, links mean that he is doing well at Rangers and he has admitted that he is loving life there.

He is currently focusing on doing his best and taking things one game at a time.
Fernandez said: “Look, I don’t really read into stuff like that. I’m just focused on the job that I’m doing here. If there’s noise going on, I’m happy for the noise.
“It’s a great achievement, I guess, or something that you can look to knowing that you’re doing well. But I feel like for me, right now, I’m focused on taking it game by game and winning the title and bringing it back for this club.
“I love it here.
“I see myself being here. I’ve still got four years left on my contract, whether that’s to run down my contract. I’m happy I’m here. I’m happy to carry on being here.”
Peterborough’s Director of Football has made a bold claim…👀
How much can Rangers demand for Fernandez? 🤑
Will Fernandez stay at Ibrox for the 2026/27 season?
Fernandez’s recent revelation suggests that he is not looking for anything away from Ibrox this summer.
Usually, players who want to leave state that they’re unclear what the future holds for them.
However, he has admitted that he is loving his time at the club, and that usually means that someone is not thinking of moving elsewhere.
A massive transfer offer may convince the Gers to cash in, but for that the centre-back also needs to show a willingness to leave, which he currently is not.
