Rangers winger Josh McPake is likely to be allowed to head out on loan next season amid interest from Motherwell and Doncaster Rovers, according to the Independent.
McPake scored prolifically for the Gers at age-group and B team level and made his first-team debut in a Europa League qualifier against St Joseph’s at Ibrox in July 2019 before heading out for the first of three loan spells.

To date, the 19-year-old has represented Dundee, Morton and Harrogate Town, with the last of those stints undoubtedly his most successful.
He managed to nail down a spot on the left wing and racked up 23 appearances over the second half of last season, scoring four goals in the league and winning the FA Trophy at Wembley.
However, the Independent reports that he’s likely to head out on loan again for 2021/22 rather than challenging for a first-team place at Ibrox.
Premiership outfit Motherwell and EFL League One sides Doncaster Rovers and Morecambe have both been credited with interest, as have Oldham Athletic and Tranmere Rovers.

It’s no major surprise that another stint away from Rangers beckons for McPake, who is quick and talented but still quite raw.
The key is that he takes a step up from last season, after faring relatively well in EFL League Two.
Motherwell, Doncaster and Morecambe fit that aim, but English fourth-tier sides Oldham and Tranmere wouldn’t represent an improvement on Harrogate.
Whether he remains at Ibrox or heads out on loan, the Scotland youth international is set to find himself playing for his future next season, as his current contract expires at the end of the campaign.
McPake isn’t the only young Rangers talent being tipped for a loan exit, with an impressive young midfielder reportedly close to joining a rival Premiership club.
