He’s only started three games for Werder Bremen but has scored two goals but there is no sign of an option to buy clause in his season long loan.
At the end of this campaign, Borre will have just a year left of his Eintracht Frankfurt contract and, having let him leave on loan, will probably be open to a move.
At 28, Borre should be peaking but would be worth the sort of fee that Rangers paid for Cyriel Dessers.
When former Rangers boss Michael Beale spoke about signing forwards with something different about them, it was players like Rafael Borre that we should have been targeting.
