Rangers interest in Lawrence Shankland has taken another turn with more detail provided on the fees and chances of any deal being made this January.
The 28-year old Hearts skipper would be a welcome addition for much of the Ibrox faithful and manager Philippe Clement would welcome the extra goals and domestic know how he would bring to the squad.
Already, Rangers have signed Fabio Silva, however, The 4th Official has claimed that a possible transfer move for Lawrence Shankland is still very much under consideration.

Rangers given Lawrence Shankland hope after fee report
The seven-times capped international has missed a couple of penalties in his last two outings but it will have been the two goals he scored from open play that would have caught the eye of any potential suitors.
Livingston manager David Martindale has gone as far to say that he is worth £4-5m and that he could easily go to the next level.
The addition of Silva means that Cyriel Dessers isn’t the only option until Danilo and, maybe Kemar Roofe, return from injury but Philippe Clement will be looking for a long term option to succeed the latter.
According to The 4th Official on Patreon, Hearts are said to be looking for a fee in the region of £3m with the player himself keen on heading across the M8.
For that sort of money, Rangers should be all over it but there is a sense that, after the summer, the board will be reticent to pay as much for a player with no sell on value.
For the next three years though, if Shankland maintained or improved his current conversion rate, he would more than repay his price tag.
The last few years has seen plenty of strikers come through the club but none were ever the type whose main strength was scoring goals.
Lawrence Shankland has his faults but for £3m Rangers would be getting what they haven’t had for a long time – guaranteed goals.
