Rangers are reportedly leading the race to sign Vitesse Arnhem and Dutch U21 right-winger Million Manhoef.
Philippe Clement is aiming to bolster his squad even further after wasting no time in securing the loan transfer of Fabio Silva to Ibrox from Wolves until the end of the season.
The £35m man should help fill the void Abdallah Sima leaves when the Senegalese international departs for the African Cup of Nations in January.
But Clement isn’t stopping there and is at the front of the queue to splash the cash on Million Manhoef, according to The Scottish Sun.
Who is Million Manhoef?

The outlet’s report also states that the highly-rated Dutch winger Manhoef is being tracked by Leicester City and Preston North End, who sit 1st and 11th in the EFL Championship respectively.
Rangers face competition for his signature but are said to be in pole position to land him. Manhoef will turn 22 at the beginning of January and has made 10 appearances for the Dutch U21 team, scoring three goals.
He has been with Vitesse Arnhem since his childhood days and broke into the first-team during the 2020/21 campaign.
Since then, he has been a regular for a Vitesse side who currently occupy bottom spot of the Eredivisie. Overall, Manhoef has scored 16 goals and laid on 14 for his teammates in 84 appearances for the club.
His form for Vitesse at the tail end of last season was recognised with two individual awards. He was named in the Eredivisie team of the month for May 2023 and was handed talent of the month at the same time.
Manhoef’s contract expires in 2025 so at £2.5m, Rangers could be shelling out way less than Vitesse may have been asking for previously.
Rangers have apparently been keeping an eye on Manhoef for the last year and director of football Nils Koppen is an advocate of the right-winger’s talents.
Ross McCausland has been vacating the right-wing spot since his emergence this season but there is a real lack of competition behind him.
Manhoef could be the man to keep McCausland on his toes and provide another option in a position Rangers have struggled to bolster over the last few years, perhaps more.
