Galatasaray have shortlisted Rangers striker Youssef Chermiti as a potential option in this summer’s transfer window.
Chermiti moved to Ibrox last summer for an initial £8m fee and, after a year at the club, is already being linked with an exit.
The Portuguese had a decent first season in Scotland, scoring 15 goals in 41 appearances in all competitions.
How much should Rangers demand for Youssef Chermiti?
He scored 15 goals in his first season at Ibrox…
Rangers want £25m for Youssef Chermiti this summer
According to Gazete Sozcu journalist Sergen Dag, Chermiti is on Galatasaray’s striker shortlist, which also includes Jhon Duran.
The Turkish reporter has claimed that Rangers are demanding a £25m fee for the 22-year-old after his one year at the club.
This would represent a significant profit for the Light Blues, seeing them make three times what they paid to sign him last summer.
Which of these strikers are Rangers expected to sell?
Lawrence Shankland's arrival will surely change things!
It remains to be seen whether or not the Turkish club will be willing to pay what the Gers are demanding for the striker.
They do have the financial muscle to cough up the money, but it would depend on where Chermiti is on their wishlist.
While the Gers are not looking to sell the Portuguese, they will consider it for the right price.

How can Rangers replace Chermiti?
While Rangers did sign Lawrence Shankland, he was not brought in as a replacement for Chermiti.
Danny Rohl deployed a 4-2-2-2 system regularly this past season, and the thinking behind that transfer was so that the two of them could play up front together.
However, Galatasaray’s interest could certainly change things and £25m is undoubtedly good money to turn down for him.
Which Rangers star will fare the best at the World Cup?
The Gers have six players at the tournament.
This could see Rangers re-entering the market for another striker and at least look at the options available to them.
They could begin initial talks and tell their desired targets that they could move for them if they get an indication that Chermiti is keen on the move.
Thus far, there is nothing from the 22-year-old to suggest that he wants to leave, but he could see Galatasaray as a step up, and if they can meet his wage demands, he may decide that the time is right to join them.
