If there is one player that Rangers should have signed on our “journey” back to the Premiership, it was Andy Robertson.
Putting his allegiances aside, in 2012/13 the Liverpool left-back was starring for Queens Park after taking a step back to get his foot on the footballing ladder.

A couple of years later and Robertson was signed by Liverpool for £8m.
Ally McCoist, meanwhile, signed Stevie Smith who, good player though he was, had been struggling with injury problems almost since his first spell at Rangers.
Rangers faced Queens Park and Andy Robertson four times that season, winning all four but his energy, drive and aggression was apparent even playing part-time football.
