Rangers have made a late inquiry about signing Huddersfield Town midfielder Juninho Bacuna on loan, according to Sun journalist, Alan Nixon.
Steven Gerrard has openly admitted that the Gers are looking to bring in a new midfielder before the transfer window closes and the club have been linked with several players.

Rangers have reportedly made approaches for Bongani Zungu of Amiens [Scotsman] and Preston’s Daniel Johnson [Daily Record] over the course of the window.
However, a new name has emerged on deadline day.
Sun journalist, Alan Nixon, claimed on Twitter on Monday morning that the Gers have made an inquiry about signing Juninho Bacuna from Huddersfield Town.
He has stated that an initial loan offer with a view to buy has been rejected by The Terriers.
Bacuna is a 23-year-old Curacao international who joined Huddersfield in 2018 from Dutch club Groningen.
He’s since made 68 appearances for the English Championship side, scoring seven goals and registering five assists.
A versatile operator, Bacuna can be deployed anywhere across the midfield and played 78 minutes in an attacking role for Huddersfield in their 1-1 draw away at Rotherham United on Saturday.
This name has come completely out of the blue on the final day of the transfer window and it suggests that Rangers could be turning their attention away from their long-term targets as the deadline edges ever closer.
