Rangers loanee James Maxwell scored the winning goal for Ayr United as they came from behind to defeat Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship.
The young Gers left-back is highly-rated and has enjoyed an up-and-down campaign with the Honest Men to date.
The goal is also Maxwell’s first for Ayr United and it comes against a side the 19-year-old has previously been on loan with in the Doonhammers.
Maxwell played in 32 games for Queen of the South last season, netting an impressive five times from full-back.
Maxwell is amongst the brightest young Rangers loanees out of the club this season and he took to Twitter to celebrate scoring the winner.

The result takes Ayr above Queen of the South in the Championship table up to 6th, four points off the Championship Playoffs.
So far the youngster has played eight times for Ayr United this season, with this his first strike of the campaign.
According to the Herald, Ayr beat off competition from European top flight sides in Norway by securing the services of the player.
The left-back has previously talked up his ambitions to catch the eye of Steven Gerrard during the loan spell and come back to challenge Borna Barisic.
“I’m desperate to come here and show what I can do,” Maxwell told the Ayrshire Post.
“I’ve been in and around the first team at Rangers during the summer but the aim for me at this stage is to be playing games.
“It’s not an easy job pushing a Croatian international – I’ve seen easier jobs in football – but obviously the main target is to challenge Borna long term.
“Hopefully I can come here and catch the eye.”
Meanwhile, an Everton loanee touted as a Rangers replacement has caught the eye on a visit to Ibrox Stadium this week.
