We take a look at the nine players who’re out on loan from Rangers this season.

With the Ibrox side boasting several young talents – as well as other players who didn’t quite fit into the jigsaw in the club’s squadloan deals offer the club a solution.

These loan players either get exposure to men’s football or they get the chance to impress elsewhere and Rangers fans will have one eye on their progress.

Here’s how the nine Rangers players currently out on loan are faring.

Ianis Hagi tops Rangers loan players list

Ianis Hagi is the most high profile loan player currently on short-term leave from Rangers and he’s had a mixed spell with La Liga side Alaves.

Whilst the Romanian playmaker, 25, continues to get minutes after a devastating cruciate ligament injury, Alaves’ results haven’t always been positive.

But with Ianis’ playmaking amongst the top in European football, the player recently followed in his father’s footsteps by walking out at the Nou Camp.

The Romanian also netted a Copa del Rey double in a 10-0 win over Deportivo Murcia.
