Rangers have strengthened the attack considerably already but one striker who won’t be arriving is Cho Gue-sung.
The South Korea international forward was reportedly on the Gers radar in January, however, Michael Beale has signed other priority targets.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Rangers have missed out on Cho Gue-sung after a move to Midtjylland was confirmed.

A fee said to be £2.6m is considerably less than the offer that Celtic made in the winter transfer window and there was never any indication that the Light Blues ever went as far as making a concrete bid.
The Sun’s Alan Nixon was adamant that the 25-year old was a name on the Gers gaffer’s wish list but he might only have been considered as an option had others fallen short.
Rangers miss out on Cho Gue-sung
Cho would have been a good player to have in the squad given his previous goal scoring record and performances in the World Cup but there simply isn’t room just now.

Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers were identified by Michael Beale as being the men he wanted and he has been backed by the board.
Next on the list, before Cho’s move was confirmed, appears to be an even more exciting option in Feyenoord’s Danilo.
Dessers and Lammers are lower risk in that they have European experience and speak fluent English.
Despite some questions about their recent goal scoring pedigree, they have both shown that they can play and contribute at the level that Rangers need them to.
Cho might have made a difference had he arrived in January, given Antonio Colak’s fitness issues and Alfredo Morelos’s form, attitude and fitness but it is encouraging to see Rangers shop in a top five league for once.
Time will tell if they have made the right decision.
