Rangers were linked with Haji Wright this summer but the Antalyaspor striker is now set for a move to Coventry City.
The Gers placed a keen focus on adding new strikers this summer.
Alfredo Morelos left the club at the end of his contract and Michael Beale set off on a recruitment drive for new attackers.
Ahead of the opening weekend of the new season, Rangers have added four attackers in Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima, Cyriel Dessers and Danilo.
The hope is that those four strikers can help fire Rangers to glory whilst Antonio Colak has been moved on to Parma.
This has been a big summer of change to the Rangers attack and some rumours have fallen by the wayside.
Josh Maja springs to mind and, just as he joins West Bromwich Albion, it looks like Haji Wright will be moving on too…
Rangers-linked Haji Wright allegedly set for Coventry City move
Turkish newspaper Milliyet claimed in May that Rangers had made a ‘surprise offer’ to sign Wright.
It was suggested that Rangers had offered £7million plus a 15% sell-on clause but Antalyaspor demanded around £8.75million.
Rangers moved on to other targets and links to Wright have completely died down in recent weeks.
The 6ft 3in striker has been attracting interest elsewhere though after hitting 31 goals in 64 games for Antalyaspor.
Turkish reporter Yağız Sabuncuoğlu now claims that Antalyaspor have agreed to sell Wright in a deal worth €9million (£7.75million) plus €2million (£1.7million) in add-ons, totalling around £9.5million.

The destination is a surprising one with Coventry City allegedly poised to bring Wright to England’s second tier.
The Sky Blues are splashing the cash after selling Viktor Gyokeres to Sporting earlier this summer with Wright now seemingly coming in.
Coventry have already spent on a striker in Ellis Simms but, if these claims from Turkey are correct, they will be landing Wright too.
That’s a major coup for Coventry and whilst Rangers will be happy with the four attackers brought in, one eye will be on how Wright fares in the Championship if he does secure this move.
