Rangers are reportedly keen on securing the services of Plymouth striker Aribim Pepple this summer.
Despite having three first-team strikers, Danny Rohl is interested in bringing another forward to Ibrox in the coming months.
This could be an indication that he plans to play a 4-2-2-2 system for next season, which would require him to have four options to choose from to lead the line.

Who do you see replacing him?
Rangers will need to shell out ‘significant’ money to sign Aribim Pepple
According to The News, Plymouth will be demanding “significant” money to sell Pepple this summer.
Rangers are not the only side interested in signing the 23-year-old, as there are English clubs keeping tabs as well.
Portsmouth, Norwich City, Watford and Lincoln City are also keen on signing the English striker in the coming weeks.

Plymouth manager Tom Cleverley has opened the door for the forward to leave the club in the summer.
He claims that there are clubs outside the Premier League who would be willing to take a punt on the 18-goal attacker.
Pepple joined Plymouth last summer from Luton Town for £250,000, and would certainly command a lot more than that if he does leave in the upcoming window.
Will Rangers sack Danny Rohl if they fail to win the league?
If he goes, who would be a good replacement for him?
Why is Pepple a target at Ibrox?
Pepple is a traditional number nine, who is known to be in the right place at the right time.
His poacher instincts make him a fox in the box, and he most certainly would thrive at Ibrox.
Rangers do not have a striker like the 23-year-old, so signing him would be an interesting move.
He would complement the other players around him and could even go on to become one of the Scottish Premiership’s top scorers if he’s utilised correctly.
Most of his goals have come from inside the box, and he could be a difference maker in the final third for Danny Rohl’s side.
At Plymouth, he has succeeded playing with another striker in Lorent Tolaj, so he could be a decent fit in a 4-2-2-2 system.
He stands at 6ft 1in and offers a physical and aerial threat as well, which Rohl would want from a centre forward.
