TEAMtalk reports that Rangers are interested in Charlton striker, Lyle Taylor.
The 30-year-old, who will become a free agent when his contract at the Valley expires at the end of next month, is said to be on the radar of a host of clubs.

The report claims Crystal Palace, Bournemouth, Middlesbrough, Stoke City, Burnley and Preston North End are all monitoring the forward, while Rangers are ‘abreast of the situation.’
The Championship season is set to be completed over the coming months but it’s suggested that Taylor is unlikely to represent the Addicks again before his contract officially expires on 30 June.
He scored 11 goals in 22 appearances across the 2019/20 campaign and has been capped a handful of times at international level by Montserrat.
Charlton are the fourteenth club he has represented in his career, and he has experience of playing in Scotland. The 6ft 2″ striker enjoyed a prolific 2012/13 season at Falkirk and spent time on loan with Glasgow club Partick Thistle both in 2014 and 2015.

Verdict
This isn’t the first time Rangers have been linked with Taylor.
Sky Sports claimed that the Gers were one of several clubs monitoring him in December with a view to a potential pre-contract swoop during the January transfer window.
It seems that although nothing materialised for the player at that time, the interest in his signature hasn’t diminished.
At 30, the forward is no spring chicken. Yet, during the 2019/20 campaign he was playing the best football of his career, scoring regularly in a division he hadn’t previously been able to crack.
Rangers aren’t as cash-strapped as some suggest but amid the uncertainty caused by the global health crisis, shrewd free transfers are a must.
It seems there’s plenty of competition, which could raise Taylor’s wage demands, but if Florian Kamberi isn’t signed up to a permanent deal, the Gers will need another goalscorer.
