The new Rangers home kit has officially been released and whilst the kit itself has stolen more than a few glances – so will the main player modelling it.
Whilst we’re sure more will be to come when the kit officially goes on sale at 8am tomorrow morning, in the first teaser sent to supporters Glen Kamara is the man front and centre.
The Ibrox midfielder is reportedly a man in demand but – whilst the full launch is one more sleep away – Kamara appears to be heading up the club’s launch of the new kit for season 21/22.
MyGers members were given a first sneak peek at the new home kit which the club confirms will go on sale at 8am in-store and online on tomorrow, Saturday 26th of June.
The kit takes on extra significance given it is in Rangers’ 150th anniversary year and this is amongst the most hotly anticipated retail releases in recent memory.
Castore have produced a fine-looking kit which has a traditional Rangers blue with a white collar and white cuffs.
There are also thin pinstripes on the jersey and gold detailing on the crest and sponsors, something which has received mixed responses from fans online.
The biggest change comes with the removal of the five stars from beneath the Rangers logo, the club instead opting for a special 150th-anniversary banner.
With every passing minute, the anticipation builds for the kit’s release but it’s not just the promise of a home jersey tomorrow morning which has the club’s supporters excited.

The fact Glen Kamara is involved will have some salivating at the prospect of the Ibrox midfielder defying those Arsenal and Watford reports and staying in Glasgow.
It’s certainly not an exact science – but the fact Glen is back sporting the Gers kit backs up earlier claims about his focus being squarely on 56 next season.
