Rangers are considering the prospect of bringing Leeds United striker Joel Piroe to Ibrox this summer.
Given the 49ers Enterprises‘ connection, the Light Blues hold a key advantage in talks compared to other suitors for the Dutchman.
The 26-year-old has fallen in the pecking order at Elland Road following the arrival of Dominic Calvert-Lewin, making an exit possible in the transfer window.
How much should Rangers demand for Oliver Antman?
He is a man in demand this summer…
Leeds United want between £8m and £10m for Joel Piroe
According to TEAMtalk, Leeds are willing to part ways with Piroe for a fee between £8m and £10m.
While the Gers are pushing to sign him, they have not yet opened talks with the Whites to sign him.
The forward will be spending the next few weeks considering his options as he is open to a future away from West Yorkshire.
He has thrived at Leeds since his move from Swansea and played a key role in getting them promoted to the Premier League.
How long will Danny Rohl be at Rangers?
Andrew Cavenagh has confirmed he will not be sacked ahead of the new season…
However, Daniel Farke does not view him as someone capable of starting regularly for a Premier League side, making a summer exit all the more likely.
Along with Rangers, there are a host of clubs keeping tabs on Piroe.
Middlesbrough, Stoke City and Birmingham have all been impressed by his exploits in England’s second tier and will be willing to take a punt on him.
PSV Eindhoven are also interested, offering Piroe a return to his home country.

Is Piroe what Rangers need next season?
This past season, Rangers signed three first-team strikers in Bojan Miovski, Youssef Chermiti and Ryan Naderi.
Chermiti and Naderi are expected to be at Ibrox next season unless there is an extremely good offer for them, but Miovski’s future hangs in the balance.
The North Macedonian has not been a first-team regular and could leave for game time this summer.
Which area should Rangers prioritise on strengthening this summer? 🤔
Andrew Cavenagh has made some bold promises!
In that scenario, the Gers will look for a striker, but it is unclear if Piroe is exactly what they need.
The 26-year-old thrives when he is playing as a number 10, and is not the best when it comes to holding up the ball and leading the line.
He could do well with someone like Naderi doing that, but as Chermiti is already there, Rohl would want to continue with the Portuguese, as he could develop into a quality striker.
