Rangers goalkeeper Andy Firth could leave Ibrox at the end of the season with his contract running down.
Firth was a surprise signing in January 2019, when he was plucked from English non-league side Barrow AFC and handed an 18-month deal at Ibrox [BBC Sport].

That deal was extended a year ago, tying the ex-Liverpool academy starlet down until the end of the 2020/21 season.
With the 24-year-old currently well down the pecking order and a number of talented homegrown keepers coming up through the ranks, though, it seems unlikely that a second extension will be offered this month.
Firth is currently the third choice senior keeper at Ibrox, behind Allan McGregor and Jon McLaughlin, but he has only made one appearance during his two-year stint at the club.
That came as a late substitute for the injured Wes Foderingham in a 2-1 defeat at Kilmarnock on the final day of the 2018/19 season.
Since then, he’s been restricted to B team appearances and has only occasionally made the first-team bench.
Firth has proved a popular character in the dressing room and with supporters, but come the summer, it will likely be time for him to find a new challenge.

Robby McCrorie and Kieran Wright are currently out on loan at Livingston and Partick Thistle respectively, and priority should be given to those two highly-rated young keepers, while teenagers Nicky Hogarth and Brian Kinnear are also showing promise.
Allan McGregor is also nearing the end of his contract, but while Firth is likely to be allowed to leave the club, Steven Gerrard is sure to try everything he can to keep the former Scotland no.1 at Ibrox for at least another season.
A promising striker who debuted in the same fixture as Firth could also be set to leave Rangers at the end of the current campaign.
