Plenty of Rangers fans are urging their club to consider a transfer swoop for an impressive Hearts player.
Steven Gerrard has a decent range of options in midfield right now, with Glen Kamara, Steven Davis, Joe Aribo, Scott Arfield, John Lundstram, Juninho Bacuna and Stephen Kelly all available, while Ryan Jack and Nnamdi Oforborh are also on the books but are currently sidelined.

Davis and Arfield can’t go on forever, though, while Kamara and Aribo are likely to attract interest in future windows.
Therefore, there could be room for a new addition in the engine room before long.

At 23, he’s not yet the finished article, but he’s impressed with his confidence in possession, vision and strong positional awareness.
On Sunday, he was a standout performer in a relatively drab 0-0 with Hibernian in the first Edinburgh derby of the season and plenty of Rangers fans who watched the game suggested he may have the ability to make it at Ibrox.
