Rangers fans split over sale of Andrew Dallas to Cambridge United

On Monday evening, Rangers confirmed the departure of Andrew Dallas from the club for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old forward has joined Cambridge United on a two-year deal.

It’s perhaps a surprising development given Dallas’ prominence within the youth setup last season.
He led the line to great effect for Graeme Murty’s Reserves side and without his goals, it’s unlikely they would have secured the league title.
The closest he got to a first-team appearance was a spot on the bench on two occasions during the middle part of 2018/19 SPL campaign.
He provided injury cover for the senior strikers but wasn’t required in either instance. Unfortunately, the goals dried up for Dallas whilst on loan at Greenock Morton during the first few months of 2019. He failed to net for the Ton and it seems that during that time, his stock fell at Ibrox.
Much as with Ryan Hardie, it’s clearly been decided that he’s unlikely to make the grade at Ibrox in the long-term.
Some Bears appear to agree with the decision, while others have questioned the logic behind the call.

Should the club have given Dallas another chance or was it a sensible decision to move him on?
