Rangers fans have expressed their delight on social media after Robby McCrorie secured a loan move to Livingston.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper has come up through the ranks and is highly thought of at Ibrox but isn’t quite ready to take the no.1 jersey from Alan McGregor.

The Scotland youth international has been building up experience out on loan over the past few seasons and the signing of Jon McLaughlin from Sunderland last month as a no.2 has granted him the opportunity to head elsewhere once again.
The club confirmed on Thursday afternoon that he has joined Livingston on loan for 2020/21.
While a recall option has been included in case circumstances change by January, the intention is clearly to allow the youngster the opportunity to play week in week out across a full top-flight season.
There has been a clear plan behind McCrorie’s loan spells thus far with him working his way up from Berwick Rangers to stints in the Championship with Greenock Morton and Queen of the South before a brief shot at the Premiership over the second half of the curtailed 2019/20 season.
After impressing during his eight appearances for Gary Holt’s side last term, plenty of Bears are delighted that he is going back to gain more experience.
Many young players head out on loan without much prospect of coming back to feature for the first-team, but it’s clear that a lot of supporters see a big future for McCrorie at Rangers.

Could be making the Scotland squad as the first choice at Livingston, potentially number 1 for Scotland, but certainly in the 3 depending on the form of the others. Good luck Robby!!

All the very best Robby, new contract provides security but the loan deal is a huge part of the learning curve as you continue the path to being our number 1.
