Michael Beale has been backed heavily by the Rangers board this summer and the imminent arrival of Danilo only further cements this.
The 24-year old Brazilian’s arrival in Glasgow is close to being announced with one reliable source taking to social media to confirm the deal.
The Four Lads Had a Dream blog have been at the forefront of every transfer story this summer and they have just revealed that, unless there is a last minute nightmare, Rangers are signing Danilo.

Writing on Twitter, Stevie Clifford gave Rangers fans the full Fabrizio Romano treatment when he said of the Danilo deal:
“As widely reported Danilo, subject to Medical is a confirmed go! Deal agreed, terms agreed, expect confirmation potentially over the next few days perhaps into weekend.
“Barring any disasters (standard disclaimer) signing 8 is confirmed go.”
Rangers near Danilo deal after Four Lads revelation
The fee Rangers are paying for Danilo, as reported by Sky Sports is £5.2m initially with add-ons that could take the final total over £6m.
It is a sizeable outlay given our recent transfer business but it shows that the club is now in a healthy place financially for the board to loosen the purse strings by as much as we have in some 20 years.
This sort of sum is, as reported by Rangers News already, similar to what was ringfenced for Malik Tillman.

If Rangers have gone to plan B, it is a pretty impressive one in Danilo and, if anything, suits our needs more.
It might be too much to ask for an end of week presentation so that the 24-year old is available to face Hoffenheim on Saturday but, at least, it looks as though he is going to be available for the main event of the Champions League qualifiers.
An instant chance to pay back his fee.
