Rangers Deadline Day Latest

“I can’t see anyone coming in unless something crazy happens”, said Gerrard last night, as quoted by Sky Sports.
Nothing crazy has happened as yet.
It has been a reasonably low-key Deadline Day for Rangers.

Jordan Rossiter joins Bury

There has been a solitary transfer.
21-year-old midfielder, Jordan Rossiter, has joined English League Two outfit, Bury, until the end of the season.
That move was officially confirmed by Rangers this afternoon.

No official word on Glen Kamara

A reputable club insider, EST Consultancy, claimed on Twitter that he ‘wouldn’t be surprised’ if Glen Kamara joined Rangers today.
The Finland international has already signed a pre-contract agreement with the club. Yet, the Evening Standard reported earlier this week he was on the verge of making an immediate switch to Ibrox.
The more hours that pass, the less likely this one is to come through.

Still no tempting bids for Rangers players?

Last night, Steven Gerrard was adamant that no departures – other than Jordan Rossiter’s – were imminent.
“We have had no other respectable bids for any of our players”, the manager said, as quoted by Sky Sports.
Alfredo Morelos and captain James Tavernier are prized assets.
They are the Gers most likely to be most coveted by other clubs.
However, there have been no reports of last minute approaches, as yet.

Six signings and out?

At the minute, it’s all quiet at Ibrox.
It appears Steven Gerrard is too efficient for all this deadline day malarky!
