Rangers are making legitimate plans to replace Jack Butland in the summer transfer window.
Pierce Charles is among a few names being considered by the Light Blues, and Derek McInnes seems to be keen on signing a new keeper.
It is set to be a busy transfer window for the Ibrox outfit, with a number of positions needing to be strengthened.
Rangers want to sign Pierce Charles…
What does this mean for Jack Butland? 🤔
Rangers consider move for Celtic-linked Angus Gunn
Rangers are understood to be considering a move for Angus Gunn, who is also liked by Celtic, according to Transfer Feed.
The 30-year-old will be available on a free transfer at the end of the month as his contract at Nottingham Forest is running out.
Celtic are also in the market for a new goalkeeper and are keeping their eyes on the Scotland international.

Gunn is currently in North America, where he is representing his country at the World Cup.
The former Manchester City goalkeeper began his campaign with a clean sheet as Scotland won 1-0 against Haiti.
It was not clear who Steve Clarke’s number one was going to be ahead of the competition, but he has decided to go with him, and it is a decision that has paid off so far.
Now that Danny Rohl seems set to leave Rangers, how would you rate his time at the club?
How has Gunn done so far in his footballing career?
Gunn joined his boyhood club Norwich City as a youngster, before he moved to Manchester City aged 15.
The Citizens had to pay Norwich a tribunal fee and they secured his services, with him initially signing a three-year deal, which was the first professional contract of his career in 2013.
However, he could not get senior appearances for the Manchester outfit, and opted to move to Norwich City, where he spent another two stints, once on loan and then permanently moving to Carrow Road in 2021.
How much can Rangers expect from Jack Butland’s sale?
He is now in the final year of his contract…
While he did leave for Nottingham Forest in 2025, he has not been the first-choice keeper there, but is still highly rated by Clarke.
There is a good chance that interest in his services increases post the World Cup and that is perhaps when he makes a decision about his future.
Most Gers fans would want the club to sign someone stylistically different to Butland, and Gunn does not tick that box.
