Rangers will always be a club that sees a high turnover of players, some will make it, some won’t but most will end up still having a decent career.
A look to the Carabao Cup in England saw Ipswich Town beat Wolves with more than a couple of familiar faces in the home side’s line-up.
Eagle-eyed Rangers fans might keep an eye on former Ibrox stars but there was one blast from the past who may have been a surprise.

After starring at St Mirren, goalkeeper Vaclav Hladky looked like he was being considered as a replacement for Allan McGregor.
The Czechia stopper had been a commanding influence in the Paisley outfit’s defence and was an unfussy, safe pair of hands.
He spoke openly about considering a move to Rangers but nothing materialised and he now finds himself pushing for promotion to the Premier League.

Dominic Ball found himself at right-back against Wolves, a player who never really seemed to know his best position and was used by Mark Warburton as a defensive midfielder and centre-half.
He never really looked like a bad player but he never really stood out either, other than one dominant Old Firm display.
Alongside him was George Edmundson, as well known for his partying with Jordan Jones as he was for his exploits on the pitch.

Signed as a promising back-up, he ended up playing more that was expected but was too error prone to be considered as a genuine contender for a regular start.
The other name comes from further in the past and the now veteran winger Sone Aluko.
The right player at the wrong time provided a few highlights in what was an otherwise miserable season.
He proved that he was good enough to be a real fans’ favourite for Rangers but fate conspired against him.
Actually, we could do with a player like him now…..
