The Daily Express reports that Celtic are now interested in signing Max Lowe.
Both Rangers and Aberdeen are already credited with an interest, meaning this could become a transfer battle between the three SPL clubs.

Lowe is contracted to Derby County but spent most of last season on loan at Pittodrie. He became a regular in the side, turning out 42 times in all competitions.
At 22, he’s a sprightly young full-back who isn’t afraid to get forward. He scored twice in the league and registered two assists, while he also netted an important Scottish Cup goal against Stenhousemuir.
It’s suggested that impressed by his displays, Steven Gerrard has sounded out Frank Lampard about a possible move.

The Gers boss may have been confident of beating off competition from the Dons. However, Celtic are now also on the case and are said to have already held initial talks with the Rams.

Lowe is in-demand

Both Old Firm sides could soon find themselves light at left-back. After the departure of Lee Wallace, Rangers’ only recognised specialist operator is the injury-prone Borna Barisic. Jon Flanagan and Andy Halliday can provide cover, but ideally, the Gers would always have a naturally left-footed defender in that berth.

As for Celtic, they could soon be without Kieran Tierney. He’s reportedly a target for Arsenal [
Scottish Sun], while Emiliano Izaguirre has also left Parkhead. Therefore, they could soon find themselves even more desperate than the Gers for reinforcements.
Lowe is valued at £315k by Transfermarkt. Considering he’s young and has SPL experience, a possible deal looks appealing.
Whether Derby are willing to let him go for that amount, though, is a different matter altogether.
With managerial uncertainty currently hanging over Pride Park, it could be a while until this one is resolved.
