Rangers have begun plans for the summer transfer window with multiple new faces expected to walk through the door.

Danny Rohl has a potential rebuild on his hands, as there could be as many as 11 players leaving Rangers in the coming weeks.

Decisions also need to be made about the futures of loan players as to whether or not they will be signed permanently or return on a temporary basis.

Rangers are keen on signing Amar Fatah

According to Swedish media outlet Fotboll Transfers, Rangers are keen on securing the services of Amar Fatah.

The 22-year-old winger is currently out on loan at Dundee United from French club ESTAC Troyes.

He was signed in the summer of 2022 and has since been loaned out to multiple clubs, but has enjoyed success in Scotland.

Ahead of the 2023/24 season, he even caught the attention of Manchester City, who had him on trial.

Pep Guardiola played him in a pre-season friendly against AC Milan, which the Citizens lost 3-2.

Fatah was recovering from injury and used the City Football Group’s facilities, which gave the Spaniard the chance to take a look at him.

“Oscar [Bobb] is always aggressive, one-vs-one, one-vs-two,” the City manager said. “Amar [Fatah] was the same when he came in. Micah [Hamilton] the same; the goal, the brilliant action with Macca [James McAtee].

How Danny Rohl can get the best out of Fatah

Fatah is a good dribbler and crosser, which could see Rohl asking him to cut inside and look to combine with the full-backs.

He is a right winger, but prefers to play on the left, which is ideal as Tuur Rommens likes to hold the width.

With there being uncertainty over Mikey Moore’s future, it makes sense to sign the 22-year-old as soon as they can.

Even if Moore joins, he can play as a number 10, but waiting too long for the Englishman risks Fatah going elsewhere.

The Swedish winger should be open to moving to Ibrox, as he would get regular minutes in a league that he is already accustomed to.

This term, he has scored eight goals and provided three assists in 30 league games for Dundee United, so he has proven himself to be a goal threat.
