Rangers and Celtic are both interested in securing the services of Derry Murkin in the summer transfer window.
The Derby County left-back joined the club in the January transfer window from FC Utrecht for a £1.7m fee, but is already being linked with an exit.
The 26-year-old has been one of the first names on the team sheet for the Rams and has already provided two assists in seven league games.

According to Football Fancast, despite the two Old Firm sides being interested in the English left-back, Celtic are ahead of their arch rivals and are currently frontrunners to secure his services.
The Hoops signed Marcelo Saracchi in the January transfer window on a loan deal from Boca Juniors.
It is understood that they are keen on signing him permanently come the end of the season, but that is not yet guaranteed.
This is why they are seriously considering signing Murkin, and their interest is considered to be more legitimate than the Gers’, as things stand.
However, Rangers have not yet been ruled out as the owners are set to back Danny Rohl in the summer with a decent transfer budget.
Thus far, neither side has touched base with the player or the club over a move.
Why Murkin is a better option at left-back than Jayden Meghoma
Murkin is undoubtedly a much better option to have at left-back for Rangers than Jayden Meghoma.
While Meghoma, who is on loan from Brentford, is still only 19, he just does not seem ready to be a first-team regular for a title-winning squad, so spending money to sign him would make little sense.
Murkin, on the other hand, has over 150 senior games under his belt and has the experience of playing in the Eredivisie, Bundesliga 2, and the Europa League.
He is also much more physical and has an engine on him that allows him to run up and down the left flank tirelessly.
At 26, he will soon be entering his peak, and the Gers need to do whatever they can to sign him ahead of Celtic.
