Rangers Academy goalkeeper Nicky Hogarth has left the club on loan.
The 18-year-old stopper has joined League Two side Stirling Albion in a bid to build-up senior experience.
Currently fifth in the table, the Binos are managed by Kevin Rutkiewicz.
It’s a second loan move of the season for Hogarth, who spent the first half of the campaign with the newly formed Caledonian Braves in the Scottish Lowland League.
However, the teenager struggled for regular game time, often finding himself on the bench behind Alex Marshall.
Hogarth will be hoping to force his way in at his latest adopted club before showing what he’s capable of on the pitch.
He’s one of many promising Rangers youth team keepers, with several others recently penning contract extensions.
Robby McCrorie, seen by many as the long-term replacement for Allan McGregor, is currently on loan at Queen of the South but contracted to the Gers until 2022 [Transfermarkt].

Lewis Budinauckas, the 17-year-old who saved two penalties in the Colts’ Challenge Cup win at Solihull Moors, is also now contracted until 2022, while Scotland Youth international Kieran Wright, is tied down until 2021 [Rangers.co.uk].
Competition is strong in this position, then, and Hogarth will be looking to make this second loan spell count.
