Rangers have landed Philippe Clement as the latest man to try and bring success to Ibrox.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Michael Beale didn’t exactly last long in the Rangers hot seat and now it’s over to Clement.
The 49-year-old has experience of title wins from his time in Belgium and Rangers fans should be excited about his arrival.

Appointing a new manager means that Rangers will have to invest in order to back yet another boss.
Van Bronckhorst and Beale were both backed with multi-million-pound signings and Clement may well expect the same.
Rangers can’t keep pumping millions into signings for a manager, only to sack them within a year, so Clement needs the right additions and real job security.
Clement has now been asked about transfers whilst speaking to Sky Sports as Rangers present the new boss.
The Belgian has been asked whether signings and budgets have been mentioned ahead of January, with Clement admitting that additions have ‘of course’ been mentioned.
Clement vowed to keep the details between himself and the Rangers board, but is actually preferring to focus on improving the current Gers squad rather than thinking about signings.
“Of course, there have been talks about it, but they are talks that stay between me and the board,” said Clement. “The first thing that is important now is for me and my staff to look at the squad, get an overview of what we think is necessary or not. Are there players that can grow or not?”
“I hope that there a few very positive surprises for the club,” he added.

Rangers backed Beale with a number of summer signings but few have been success stories so far.
Jack Butland has impressed but Cyriel Dessers and Danilo have struggled to live up to their price tags.
Jose Cifuentes hasn’t found his best form yet either and Clement is now charged with getting the best out of those players.
Maybe Rangers can learn from this; a clearer transfer strategy would be ideal rather than leaving the manager with almost sole power as Beale and over the summer.
Clement is now left to try and improve Beale’s signings, all whilst probably wanting his own new faces come 2024.
