Rangers will look to supply Philippe Clement with more consistent goal scorers for next season and more depth upfront.
One name has emerged as a target already in Kosovo international Albion Rrahmani after the Rapid Bucharest striker enjoyed a prolific season in Romania.
Reports of a £6.8m transfer fee suggest that it could be a deal out with Rangers reach, however, Philippe Clement’s desire for a striker will impact those already in the squad.

Rangers striker link leaves Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers call
When they were all fit, Danilo was preferred as first choice, Cyriel Dessers was the backup and Kemar Roofe was the break glass in case of an emergency option.
Sam Lammers was playing as a number 10, but his form on loan at Utrecht suggests that playing through the middle is still his best position with 10 goals and three assists in 18 appearances.
If Rangers are going to spend a lot of money on a striker, which will mean another big wage, space will have to be cleared.
Danilo cost Rangers £6m when he arrived from Feyenoord, after two serious injuries, the chances of any bids are highly unlikely.
He also has the all-round game that suggests he will come good with a run of games.
Kemar Roofe has already said his goodbyes, which makes it a two-horse race for who should be sold.
Despite painfully slow starts that ultimately cost Michael Beale his job, Dessers and Lammers found the form that saw them signed by clubs in Serie A.
Dessers is currently on 30 goals/assists which is a reasonable return for his first season, especially when you take into consideration how Rangers started this year.
Lammers form at Utrecht has come from nowhere, but playing in his preferred position is paying dividends.
Clement could have decision to make room for Rrahmani
Choosing which one to sell, if only one of them can leave, isn’t an easy decision.
The obvious factors are Dessers being a few years older and will turn 30 early next season, plus Lammers return in the first half of the season can be attributed to playing out of position.
Lammers is more comfortable on the ball and better at beating players one v one too.
The fundamental difference is that Dessers has handled the mental side of playing for Rangers whilst Lammers just didn’t seem to deal with the pressure at all.
It is too late to change the £4.5m fee paid for Dessers and he has shown that he can fit into Philippe Clement’s system.
Having only paid £3m for Lammers, there is a chance that a profit could yet be made, and his sale could help fund the arrival of Albion Rrahmani.
