Rangers have been linked with a summer move for Petar Ratkov and it’s easy to see why with the Serbian’s latest strike adding to a growing tally of goals.
Michael Beale will, probably, have to get used to life without Alfredo Morelos from next season, with reports claiming that the Colombian has decided not to extend his contract emerging over the weekend.

A host of names, including Serbian youngster Ratkov have been identified as potential successors.
Against Celtic, the mercurial South American had his typical Old Firm display in that he was a constant menace, bullied a few members of their defence but emerged with nothing to show for his efforts.
A striker has been earmarked as a summer priority already and more pertinently, one that is capable of leading the line and being more clinical, a long-term replacement for Kemar Roofe.
Beale will be hoping to land targets that better suit his system and style of play.
Rangers-linked Petar Ratkov gets his goal
Ratkov of FK TSC has shown again at the weekend the sort of composure that the Gers gaffer will be looking for and took his tally for the season to eight goals and four assists.
This sort of return might not be attention-grabbing but he has gradually improved throughout the season and has six goal contributions in his last seven games. The 19-year old is set for a breakthrough season next year if he continues on his current trajectory.
TSC have already rejected a bid believed to be in the region of £3million for the 6ft 3inch forward according to The Athletic’s Jordan Campbell and Ross Wilson will have to dig deep if he is to secure the signature of one of the Balkan’s most promising youngsters; getting this type of player in early and before they make their “big” move is key to a successful player trading model.
There are issues with the Rangers squad but they are well known and our sporting director should already be ahead of the curve when it comes to his recruitment plans, plans that look increasingly likely like they won’t involve Alfredo Morelos.
