There are a host of good strikers available to Rangers on pre-contract agreements or free transfers this summer, Michael Olunga being one of them.
The Kenya captain has scored goals for fun in Qatar after leaving the J-League as their best player but now has a decision to make.

A link to Galatasary has emerged, as well as one to Corinthians, with Brazilian media outlet Eusoutimao, via Pulse Sports Kenya, revealing the salary on offer and it is one that Rangers could afford for Michael Olunga.
“With his current contract valid until June 30, 2023, in the Stars League, Olunga would be willing to transfer to Corinthians if the salary proposal of 2 million reais is accepted.
“This value is considered high by the standards of Brazilian football but the Sao Paulo club would be analysing the possibility of bringing the player to reinforce its attack.”
Translated into sterling, the reported salary is around £350,000 per year or £7,500, give or take.
Michael Olunga should be on Rangers radar
For such an experienced and prolific striker available on a free transfer, Rangers would be negligent if they didn’t entertain making an offer.
Usually, with Bosman moves, not having to pay a transfer fee means that a larger signing on fee or higher wages becomes the norm.
Michael Olunga is robust, scores goals and can play either with a partner or on his own, the perfect versatility needed to be a Rangers striker.
The weekly wage mentioned by Eusoutimao is less than Steven Davis was on as a rotation option and nearly a fifth of what the now departed Alfredo Morelos was earning.
Given his credentials and previous record, the 29-year old would be significantly better value for money than the Colombian.
