Rangers boss Michael Beale uploaded a clip of himself travelling to London as the latest reports suggest a move for Chelsea talent Dujon Sterling is imminent.
The Ibrox manager took to Instagram to reveal he was travelling to the UK’s capital and it’s set Rangers fans’ tongues wagging ever since.
Although it’s nothing more than a clue that things are happening in the background at Rangers, Ibrox fans are certainly not wasting any time musing over who the boss might be meeting.
While there is absolutely no inclination that the two are connected as things stand, the Ibrox side are reportedly close to an announcement on one player in particular.
Michael Beale in London as Gers close in on Dujon Sterling
Dujon Sterling has reportedly turned down contract offers from current club Chelsea and loan side Stoke City to sign on at Rangers this summer.
Out of contract at Stamford Bridge, Rangers would be signing a versatile squad option who can play at right-back, left-back, centre-back and in midfield.
Rangers have been linked extensively all summer, and reports this weekend are claiming the 23-year old will be the next summer signing to be announced after Kieran Dowell last week.
According to Football Insider, the deal is set to be announced this week and, with Beale in London, it’s clear that the club are taking the next steps in their recruitment drive.

Beale eyes busy summer
We don’t know if the two are combined at this stage, but something tells us Beale is set to be busy man all summer long.
Big changes are expected, and the Rangers manager only last week said the club will “act quickly” to get the bulk of the club’s transfers done ahead of pre-season.
“My excitement for this summer is because I see the work we are doing in the background,” said Beale ahead of the eventual 3-0 win over St Mirren.
“We will come out in a much stronger place for sure and be in a much stronger place mentally. I’ve been away meeting players in between games, we may need to be patient on one or two but we will act quickly before pre-season. We want players to come in and be key players.”
