Rangers boss Michael Beale has confirmed that Ibrox talent Charlie McCann is in discussions over an exit from the club amid links to English League One club Forest Green Rovers.
The Northern Irish youth international was linked with a return down south after struggling for gametime at Ibrox this season and now it appears McCann could be on his way out of the club in the coming days.

The ex-Man United youth has impressed since joining from Old Trafford but there has been a lack of opportunities at Rangers for Charlie McCann who is looking to play more first-team football.
According to the Daily Record, Forest Green have had a bid accepted for Charlie McCann despite the fact Rangers had offered the 20-year-old a new contract.
The interest was also reported by transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, who claims the player is travelling south with a view to confirming the deal.
Speaking after the club’s 1-0 Scottish Cup victory over St Johnstone, Rangers manager Michael Beale confirmed that McCann is in discussions over a move to the League club.
That’s according to Joshua Barrie, who made the claim on Twitter after speaking to the Ibrox boss after the game.
Charlie McCann set for Rangers exit to Forest Green
The situation has polarised Rangers fans, many of whom believed that Charlie McCann was amongst a raft of youngsters potentially destined for great things at the club.
The youngster regularly stood out at B Team level, scoring goals and adding vibrancy and dynamism from midfield, and even managed eight appearances for the Rangers first-team, including a start in the 2-1 win over Dundee United earlier in the season.
But amid injuries and fitness problems at Ibrox this campaign, it is telling that Charlie McCann has been unable to regularly compete for a place and perhaps a transfer out of Rangers is the best for all parties.
Meanwhile, the debate continues to rage regarding one key Rangers star’s retirement.
