The 24-year-old Netherlands international forward was on the books of PSV from 2007 until January 2023 when he joined Premier League club Liverpool.
Danilo started his professional club football career at Ajax and had a loan spell at FC Twente before moving to Feyenoord in the summer of 2022.
Now 24-year-old Brazilian striker has joined Rangers, and Gakpo is happy.
Danilo himself is over the moon at the transfer to Rangers, who are one of the biggest clubs in Scotland and will be determined to win the Scottish Premiership title next season.
The 24-year-old striker told Rangers’ official website: “I’m super happy. I can’t wait to start playing at Ibrox in front of the supporters.
“I am so in love already with the club and I’m excited to be part of the Rangers team. It’s time to get to work and I hope that I can repay the love that they have shown to me.”
Rangers manager Michael Beale added: “Danilo is a player that I have personally been aware of since his time at Ajax. He had a breakthrough year on loan at FC Twente and then back at Ajax before joining Feyenoord last summer.
“He has won the Dutch title in both of the last two seasons and his goal per minute ratio is very good. He is an exciting player who likes to create and score goals, he is one that I believe is a good fit for our squad and he will give us another big option in the attacking areas of the pitch.”

Danilo won the Eredivisie title with Ajax in 2021-22 and then with Feyenoord in 2022-23.
The striker scored 10 goals and gave three assists in 14 Eredivisie starts for Feyenoord last season.
Danilo scored 17 goals and provided five assists in 31 Eredivisie starts for FC Twente in 2020-21.
