Serie A giants Juventus have sent a message to Rangers signing Aaron Ramsey after the Welsh international moved to Ibrox.

Rangers were the talk of the transfer window as the Ibrox club pulled off a massive coup to sign the 31-year-old on a six month loan deal until the end of the season.

Taking to their official website to wish the midfielder all the best at Rangers, Juventus thanked Ramsey for his two-and-a-half years of service to the club.

“Aaron Ramsey has left Juventus. The midfielder will play the remainder of the season on loan at Rangers in the Scottish Premiership,” reads a statement.

“The Welsh midfielder made 70 appearances for the Bianconeri since arriving from Arsenal in 2019.

“He scored six goals, including one in the Champions League, in the away match at Lokomotiv Moscow, and five in Serie A against Verona, SPAL and Inter, Sassuolo and Sampdoria.

“Arguably the most precious was his strike against Inter, in the Allianz Stadium that was empty for the first time. His performance was capped off with the assist for Paulo Dybala’s splendid goal in the 2-0 victory.

“But above all, he contributed to the Bianconeri’s recent trophy haul, winning a league title, the ninth consecutive Serie A crown for Juventus, an Italian Super Cup and an Italian Cup.

“Thanks for everything and good luck Aaron!”

Rangers thank Juventus for Aaron Ramsey “co-operation”

Widely reportedly to be on £400k per week at Juventus, the Bianconeri are said to be fronting the bulk of the player’s wages and this was an assertion alluded to by Ross Wilson.

After Aaron Ramsey was announced at Ibrox, Wilson thanked Juventus for their “cooperation” with the midfielder himself pushing for the move to Rangers.

Whilst the financial details of the deal remain unconfirmed, Ross Wilson reassured fans that the move doesn’t break from the club’s pre-existing wage structure as he thanked Juventus.

“This is a really exciting signing for both Rangers and Aaron,” said Wilson [Rangers].

“As soon as I was made aware of the opportunity we had to bring Aaron to Rangers around a week ago, we have worked really hard to secure his signature.

“Not only is Aaron a world-class player who will play a key role in our team, his level of ability and professional standards will be an inspiration to our existing players.

“We see Aaron as a leader, a quality player and a wonderful character to bring into our club. I’ve admired his career since his emergence at Cardiff and across Arsenal, Juventus and with Wales. We are all looking forward to working with him closely.

“I am thankful to Juventus for their professional approach and discretion. Juventus and Aaron had many significant offers from elsewhere and we are delighted that he has chosen Rangers.

“Any agreement we reach has to be within our normal wage model and Aaron’s desire to play here has enabled us to achieve this with Juventus’s cooperation.”

Meanwhile, as Rangers secured a move for Aaron Ramsey from Juventus another Deadline Day Ibrox move reportedly failed.
