Rangers boss Michael Beale has hinted at signing players he knows well amid interest in Nottingham Forest’s Jonathan Panzo.
The end of the season is drawing closer and closer with Rangers unlikely to catch Celtic now.
The attention will quickly turn to the summer transfer window and just how Beale can take Rangers forward.
Beale has dropped an interesting hint about the summer transfer plans in light of Ross Wilson’s exit.
Beale has told Rangers Review that the Gers may well sign a number of players he has previously worked with at other clubs.
“If the window goes how I plan it to go, then you’ll be able to trace a lot of the players back to some that maybe I’ve worked with or you’ll be able to see the links, they’ll be clear,” said Beale.
That has set minds racing among the Rangers fanbase, with supporters trying to figure out just who Beale could be referring to with those comments.

Jonathan Panzo fits the bill for Rangers
One rumour that certainly makes sense is the link to Jonathan Panzo.
The Daily Record reported in March that Rangers are keen on signing Nottingham Forest defender Panzo.
The report highlighted that Beale and Panzo had already worked together when the defender was in the Chelsea youth ranks.
Panzo joined Chelsea at the age of just nine with Beale in a key role as a Blues youth coach at the time.
Based on Beale’s new comments, we can only assume that there is some weight to the Panzo rumours after all.
Currently on loan at Coventry City, Panzo was tipped for a big future but a move from Chelsea to Monaco didn’t really work.
One of the big selling points with Panzo is his ability as a left-footed defender who can play as a left back or left-sided centre back.
Filip Helander is set to leave this summer and Rangers may want another left-footer to compete with Ben Davies.
Panzo could be that player and Beale’s transfer hint leaves us thinking the 22-year-old could become a top Rangers target.
