According to the Daily Mail, via the Scottish Sun, Joe Aribo is set for a lucrative move to Rangers.
The 22-year-old was an outstanding performer for Charlton Athletic last season.

He scored ten goals and registered three assists in 39 League One appearances [Transfermarkt], eventually helping the Addicks earn promotion to the Championship via the playoffs.
However, he’s out of contract at the Valley this summer.
Multiple clubs have been linked with a cut-price swoop for the midfielder. Yet, it seems as though Rangers are about to win the race.

It’s also said that he will immediately become one of the club’s highest paid players. £20,000 a week is the quoted figure. That means he’ll be raking in just in excess of £1 million a year at Ibrox.
It would be a great piece of business if Rangers were able to secure the Englishman’s signature for just a cross-border development fee.
Celtic were also reportedly interested [Scottish Sun], so it would be an early blow from Gerrard towards Neil Lennon’s plans.
That being said, if and when Aribo is confirmed, the attention must switch to centre-back. After the departures of Joe Worrall and Gareth McAuley, the Gers lack defensive cover.
