Rangers look unlikely to sign Luis Palma this summer with Watford now seeming moving for the Aris winger.
Palma has been at the heart of one of the top Rangers transfer sagas this summer.
This one started way back in April as Greek newspaper Sportime claimed that Rangers wanted Palma.
The plan was to scout Palma in action against Olympiacos and then make their move.
Athlos News then claimed in in May that Rangers had failed with a £2.5million bid for Palma despite reports in Scotland that he wasn’t a Gers target.
The rumour has ultimately gone quiet over the weeks as Rangers have focused on other players.
Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima and Cyriel Dessers have arrived to bolster the Rangers attack, meaning there may not be room for Palma.
We’re not expecting to see the Honduran international arrive at Ibrox any time soon, but he now seems destined for England.

Watford move in for Luis Palma
The Daily Mail now report that Watford are in talks with Aris to secure the signing of Palma.
It’s stated that Watford want to take Palma on loan in a deal worth £850,000.
The plan would then be for the Hornets to sign Palma permanently in a deal worth £4.5million next summer.
The report highlights that Ranges did hold talks to sign Palma but they ultimately went nowhere.
It’s claimed that Palma also attracted the interest of Manchester United scouts having impressed in Greece.
The 23-year-old hit 13 goals and eight assists last season, predominantly playing as a left winger.
Watford are now looking for Palma to make a big impression in England and Rangers will hope they haven’t missed out on a star.
