There were mixed reactions amongst fans on Twitter today, as Sky Sports reported yet more Rangers transfer developments.
Later in the afternoon, Radio Clyde’s Alison Conroy, claimed that both Kilmarnock’s Jordan Jones and Glen Kamara, of Dundee, had already completed Rangers medicals.
It appears that for both players, confirmation of pre-contract agreements is near.
The move for Glen Kamara in particular, split opinion amongst the fans.
Some believe the Finnish international midfielder is a good option.

However, others aren’t so sure.

In fact, perhaps concerningly, some Dundee fans seem keen to get Kamara off their books.
The player is hardly pulling up trees at the SPL’s bottom side, this season.
He has registered two assists in 17 league appearances to date, for the Dens Park outfit.

Clearly, this move doesn’t have the same near unanimous support as reported swoops for Davis and Defoe.
However, Rangers appear to be keen to push it through.
As the former Arsenal man would arrive on a free, this is a low risk move in terms of finances.

At 23, Kamara is not yet the finished article. What’s more, he should have the second half of the season to develop further at Dundee.
After that, he will be thrust into the limelight at Ibrox.
Only then, will the fans really know if he has what it takes to be a Ger.
