Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has hinted that he is content with Alfredo Morelos remaining at the club as the transfer deadline nears, as quoted by the Scotsman.
Morelos has been linked with a move elsewhere throughout the summer, with Lille the side most heavily linked with his signature.

The Colombian international reportedly agreed personal terms with the Ligue 1 side in July [Sky Sports] but an offer of around £16.25m was rejected by the club [Daily Mail].
It was reported recently that Lille could return with an increased offer [Scottish Sun], but El Bufalo remains a Ger with only a matter of days remaining in the window.
Asked for an update on the striker’s situation, Gerrard hinted there may be no changes to his squad between now and the end of deadline day.
“I don’t think the questions will ever stop being asked of me about Alfredo,” said Gerrard, as quoted by the Scotsman. “I’ve been asked questions about him ever since I walked through the door two years ago. You know and I know that they are never going to stop.”
“I won’t be relieved on Monday, because I’m pretty fine sitting here right now. I’m content with where we are, where the squad is at, where the team is at.
“I won’t be rubbing my hands together when the transfer window shuts, I’ll just be carrying on every day like I normally do.”

Rangers boss Gerrard hints at Alfredo Morelos stay – Verdict
Gerrard has fielded questions about Morelos throughout the summer, but the player’s status hasn’t changed.
El Bufalo may fancy a new challenge, but he’s contracted to the club until 2023 and unless someone meets his valuation, he’ll remain at Ibrox.
It has reached a point in the window, though, where it would be very difficult to bring in a high-quality replacement if Lille do put £20m on the table.
Therefore, despite his claims, the manager surely will be relieved if his number one striker reports for training on Tuesday.
